Modern yet elegant decor. So much attention to detail! An amazing amount of places for lounging. The design is incredible. Features that are revolutionary for ships like Eden, the Magic Carpet, and the Infinite Veranda staterooms.
We were lucky enough to be able to see 3 suites on Deck 12 - Iconic, Penthouse and Royal. While walking down the hall we peeked into some inside cabins and they had a lot of space and the same decor.
Two more ships will come out in the future as sister ships to the Edge. The Apex in 2020 and one more, still unnamed as of now.
We loved their approach to the specialty vs complimentary dining rooms. Some cruise lines have the exact same menu in all comp dining rooms. On the Edge, all comp dining rooms have 75% of the same menu, but the other 25% has a flair - like Tuscan has Italian, and Cyprus has Greek, etc. If you have a timed dining you'll be assigned to one, but if you Celebrity Select dining you can bounce around.
